Lodge Park, a century of living in Megève
In 1927, Megève invented a new way of living the mountains. It was in this emerging Megève that the Hôtel du Parc first opened its doors. Later renamed the Parc des Loges, then Lodge Park, the hotel has travelled through the decades, changing its name, its décor and its style, without ever leaving its place at the heart of the village.
For its centenary, Lodge Park is not only looking back through its archives: it is celebrating a house that, for a hundred years, has never stopped evolving.

1927. Megève becomes a legend
In the 1920s, the pastoral village gradually became one of the most coveted destinations in the Alps. People came to ski, but already for everything that happened around it: lunches at altitude, reunions on the way back from the slopes and dinners that lasted longer than planned. The mountains were beginning to invent a style of their own.
The Hôtel du Parc was born in that Megève: lively, elegant, sporty and deeply attached to the pleasure of being together. Over time, it became the Parc des Loges. Skis grew shorter, cars replaced sleighs, but some rituals endured through the decades: heading out early, living outdoors, coming back to the warmth and finding the people you love to share the mountains with.

1996. From travels, the spirit of the Lodge is born
In 1996, Jocelyne and Jean-Louis Sibuet took over the Parc des Loges and gave it an entirely new identity. After Les Fermes de Marie and the Hôtel Mont-Blanc, this address would tell the story of another kind of mountain: more well-travelled, freer and more unexpected.
The inspiration came from their travels in North America, from Aspen to the great lodges of Canada. The walls were clad in logs. Canoes, fishing trophies and objects brought back from journeys took their place alongside patinated leathers, tartans and antique finds, like the home of a collector returned from many expeditions.
The Parc des Loges became Lodge Park. You don't just come here to stay, you come here to meet. The right people, beautiful objects, good sports, good times and a certain ease. The club is something you see. It needs no explaining.
2027. One hundred years old and more contemporary than ever
For its centenary, Lodge Park is completing the most significant transformation in its recent history. Led by Marie and Nicolas Sibuet, yesterday's 49 rooms have given way to 29 generously proportioned rooms and suites.
The logs, the canoes and the collected objects are still here: they hold the memory of the place. Around them, old wood meets dark marble and quartzite, tartans mingle with velvets, and fireplaces give the rooms the feel of private lounges. The spirit of the great lodges remains, but it has become a style all Lodge Park's own: a contemporary alpine club, warm and deeply rooted in Megève.
A day at the Lodge
The morning starts slowly, over a coffee, before heading to the slopes. At the end of the day, everyone comes back to the Lodge. The fire crackles; some settle in for afternoon tea, others head to the pool or the Longevity Club, 1,000 m² dedicated to recovery and wellbeing.
Then it's time for the Bar du Lodge, the social heart of the house, before the evening carries on at the Beef Lodge, around the fire and long tables.
Breakfast. Ski. Back at the Lodge. Recovery. Bar. Dinner. Sleep.
A hundred years, and still the urge to come back
The houses that stand the test of time are not the ones that stand still. In a hundred years, the house has changed its name, its face and its generation. It has earned a fifth star and invented a new wellbeing experience. But its place remains the same: at the heart of Megève.
The archives tell what once was. The Lodge tells what carries on.
1927 — 2027. One hundred years at the Lodge.
